The Role

Kerio is looking to add a Backend developer to our development team to work on a Cloud Unified Communications product, our innovative message and groupware solution. We need someone with proven development skills, critical thinking, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

What you will be doing

• Creating and implementing cloud architecture for Unified Communications cloud service (emails, IM, voice, video)
• Leading technological changes in development teams towards cloud deployment
• Developing high-availability, failover and redundancy solution for cloud service
• Cooperating with other development teams (application service, user interfaces)

Skills required

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture desired
• Knowledge of basic Linux commands desired
• Ability to work on and contribute to a team
• Knowledge of distributed filesystems and databases
• Knowledge of cloud orchestration and provisioning
• Programming in C++ or Java
• Quick learner

Additional wow-factors

• SQL and NoSQL database experience
• Deep knowledge of any of following technologies: AWS, Solr, ElasticSearch, Puppet, Zabbix, Vagrant, Docker
